4- indian car drivers in dubai, they HAVE to be assholes for some reason, even when they don't have to !
5- Mosque bathrooms and wudhu areas, YUUUCCCCCKKKK !
6- Friday Khutbah topics in this country.
7- Being alone in my apartment.
8- Having a very messy dirty apartment (check 5)


Things I like

1- My wife is coming back in a week, yay !
2- My camera
3- The new HR lady at work, she's hardcore ! it's great !
4- Making people's lives easier at work, it's the most rewarding feeling.

Crap, still 16 minutes remaining, I'm downlading 1 gig of RAW images using USB, and that takes quite some time.

6- Having a business card with my name on it.
7- Bond music. especially this song called Korobushka. It's amazing you should listen to it, find it on youtube.
8- Finally having a big enough family in oz to go on long 3 day trips, though not till I get back to oz.
9- Abu Dhabi Quran station on the Radio.
10- Bu Rashed from Sharja Radio. I love him, he really rocks.

So this friday I'm free, no one to see, no wife to hang out with. I wanna go out photographying but like, I don't know. Usually I'm quite lazy on fridays and the day just passes by while I watch south park.

But this friday I really wanna go out shooting. Where would I go though ? maybe I'll go the Rolla, it's old and crappy and stinky and full of indians, that usually looks good through a lens.

Maybe I'll go to the islamic artefacts museum in Sharja.

Or like. the beach ? but that's a few minutes shooting, there is only sand and water and maybe a kid kicking at the sand.

Maybe I'll call up someone to go out or watch a movie, but I feel antisocial so I'm probably not gonna do that.

So many options, and I'm so lazy. . .

I don't know if it's just me or everyone else in the uae, or the world even, whenever I try to login, I put my login name and password, and it loads up the login page again, it's very frustrating !

And what the frick is up with youtube ? I can't load up anyvideos now ! 3 out of every 5 videos give me that annoying message "We're sorry, this video is no longer available", WHY ? and I'm not talking about illegal copies of movies or anything, even movie trailers are giving me that message ! what the frick is going on here !

Please, tell me if this is happening to you as well or if I'm just going crazy.

General update

It's going up to 44, which means alot of sweating and general discomfert, but nothing I can't handle. Whenever I say that though, a do gooder volunteers information about the 55 degree weather I'm about to meet in two months, joy joy !

otherwise what's up ? the big clubs are going sleepy ! the emirates club is dead ! all the muslims clubs are dead ! the iraqi club is dead ! (I sort of run the iraqi club so that's my fault)

I'm not taking as many shots as I used to, one reason IS the heat that's true, but also because I'm so busy with work now adays. I don't have time to take shots of anything, except for the mosque near Deira city center which I go to on Fridays (3 fridays in a row, I'm sick of Diera).


The world's going crazy, there is so much news coming out of everywhere that's hard to keep updated, how many people died in china ? what's happened with Gaza ? is Syria really about to sell out in the Golan Heights ? Is Obama finally making a clear lead in the race ? What is up with that black on black violence happening in South Africa ! wierd ! ! !

I try to listen to news on the radio, but if it's not BBC english I can't trust it, maybe it has something to do with my upbringing, or maybe the western world can give a better spin, allahu a3lam. If aljazeera gets a radio channel, I'm sticking with it, but untill then it's James Kumarasinga or nothing.

I miss my family, I miss australia, I miss melbourne at night, and the pancake parlour, I miss playing 2am Monopoly with my sardar gi freind Punit, I miss bbqs at home. Though that doesn't mean I'm sad to be here, it's great being here, I love lays chips and cheap cafereria food and Diera city center.

Now I'm just rambling, so I'll exit.
