Description
These little glass cups are used for drinking tea in Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and probably the Sham area.
In Iraq we call it istikan, we always thought it was s turkish word, however I read an article recentely which claims the name is derrived from the english "east tea can", used by british soldiers in Iraq during first world war. The appearanly called it that to distinguish it from thier own tea carrying vessles.
